RoadShare is about partnerships. NZUAG has developed a model partnering agreement for use by utility companies and Road Controlling Authorities (RCAs).
It sets out the rights and responsibilities of each party and provides a clear explanation of what is required to work in the road corridor together.
The agreement includes principles of cooperation, coordination and communication. Most importantly it encourages the adoption of best practice guidelines and codes of practice. The agreement can be customised to suit a particular city or district.
